My April Post

My post this month is only going out to subscribers of my Posts & Prints newsletter.

For those of you who are new here, I started Posts & Prints in November 2020, for three reasons:

  1. I wanted people to be able to get my monthly post via e-mail, as they were able to do when I had a WordPress site (I use Squarespace now).

  2. I wanted to share certain images and stories with a smaller group who enjoy my work enough to trust me with their e-mail address.

  3. I wanted people who are interested in my prints to have access to information about new prints in my shops and special discounts on those prints.

In addition to my monthly posts, subscribers get a quarterly newsletter with an exclusive story, a book review, and a discount code for my print shops.

The first newsletter, published in January, featured a photograph of Mamefuji during her misedashi as her makeup was being applied and the story of her misedashi.

The second newsletter, published today, featured an image and story about a percussion recital in Gion Kobu you’ve probably never heard about.

If you’d like to receive my next newsletter (which will come out in late July) and announcements about new prints, you can simply subscribe below.

I’ll be back with my regularly scheduled post at the end of May. Until then, stay safe!
