Nocturne in Black, Red, and Gold
This photo of the maiko Fukuhina of Miyagawa-cho was taken several hours after the portrait of her that appeared with my last post. I just happened to bump into Fukuhina that evening, but I could tell by her body language that she was in a hurry. I simply thanked her for her time that afternoon and made a few photos of her as she hurried on her way.
I think the pattern of her kimono is quite unique and beautiful, so I thought readers might like a second look at it, this time in a full-length image.
